The ACGME is pleased to invite the graduate medical education (GME) community to the 2023 Annual Educational Conference at the Gaylord Opryland Resort and Convention Center in Nashville, Tennessee, February 23-25, 2023. After two years of a virtual conference, the ACGME is looking forward to gathering again in person.
With the return of an in-person event, the ACGME values and remains committed to the safety of all attendees. Through collective efforts, the ACGME will work to ensure all who attend have a safe space to learn, engage, and connect. All attendees must be fully vaccinated and boosted as defined by the CDC at the time of the conference.
This year’s conference content will include sessions covering such topics as ACGME accreditation and initiatives; preparing residents/fellows for practice; successful strategies to achieve best practices; diversity, equity, and inclusion; professional development; well-being; crisis management; assessment; and other impactful and forward-thinking learning initiatives and subjects.
Over three days, the conference will host thousands of individuals from across GME, with opportunities to engage and connect through educational sessions and exciting activities. As always, the ACGME’s signature learning event will offer a breadth and depth of content for all in GME and those passionate about education and collaboration.
In lieu of charging a fee for virtual conference content, the ACGME will provide select conference content for free to the GME community at large—after the live conference through ACGME’s online learning portal, Learn at ACGME. The specific content will be determined post-conference.
Registration for the 2023 ACGME Annual Educational Conference will open later this fall.
